The Black Tie by Kelly Ewing : And why they are most preferred.

Christian Dior was the first to use the term "cocktail dress" to refer to early evening wear, in the late 1940s.

A cocktail dress or a gown, is worn at cocktail parties, we all are found of attending or are won during 'black tie' occasions. And speaking of today, dresses like these are much approved over the party dresses for an evening out too. Because, party dresses just don't work in formal situations. Well, cocktail does.
Cocktail dresses are also called the 'afternoon' dresses.

The length depends on fashion and local custom. If its summer, its mini. Winters? Its definitely a gown. Rainy? Now, you wouldn't wanna spoil your clothes in that season.

And not to forget, cocktail dresses/ black tie dresses are very popular with the plus sized women out there. Because, a cocktail dress is  simple, yet formal and elegant. And the plus size women, are usually forgotten by most designers of today who only think that everyone should go tall and slim. And party dresses, these days are not available, except for slim girls.

Here, is a collection of Black Tie dresses by Kelly Ewing. (2010)

reminiscent of the lust and drama of a Bronte novel
This season, I plan to go light.
Grey, has cool and warm feeling.
 Light Pink, serene and stunning.
Ruffles. Check.Red and light grey. Check. Bow. Check. Funk, of course.

The famous, silk purple with black.
 Drape the crowd.
 Golden, for the royal.
Green belt draped around the waist.
 Classic for a Black Tie.
The maximum heels to wear at a cocktail or a black tie, are these.
The  most comfortable and light, of course again.
Team up with a tiara, of your choice.
And lockets, that just make your afternoon more special.

Let your cocktail or black tie memory, dressed in a 'moment- to- remember' way.
Because, a women is never overdressed!
